About Us

Brief History

Page Clearing is a family owned business formed in the late 1950’s by brothers Neal and Jim Page. They started with one dozer and a few saw men working for the general public building ponds and clearing pasture land for $12.00 per hour. A winning bid with TVA provided them their 1st contract to clear a transmission line from Colbert Steam Plant through the Freedom Hills in Northwest Alabama. This began a long standing relationship which continues today.

Neal’s son, Joel Page, serves as President and Chairman of the Board. Joel’s extensive knowledge of all aspects of the clearing business began in his pre-teen years by working for his father. In 1982 Joel purchased the family business. He leads Page Clearing by example, working along side his men in the field demonstrating an honest, dependable work ethic instilled in him from his youth. The company continues to see outstanding growth under Joel’s leadership.

Neal’s son, Anthony Page, is the Shop Foreman and has been with the company for 44 years. He oversees the maintenance and repairs of all our equipment. Page Clearing has well over 100 pieces of equipment incorporating some of the newest technologies available to continue the company’s tradition of providing top-notch services in the land clearing business. We also fabricate and build specialty implements and modify our equipment to suit the needs of the job.

Marc Page, Anthony’s son, serves as Vice-President. He returned to Page Clearing in 1999 after serving eight and one-half years in the Air Force Special Operations. As a third generation Page he will continue the family tradition with a focus on building the company even stronger for the next generation.

Honesty, hard work, teaching by example and dedication to excellence are the trade marks which have made this company successful for the past 50 plus years.
